1. GENERATIVs.
These peices have a unique construction for each generation/iteration. No instant is ever identical through the use of random variables within specially selected limits.
Colourfields - new code strains cultivated from old and simple replication code originally produced for Flash Math Creativity.
Generatives are uniquely generated abstractions - layered maskings of alpha'd shapes in random configurations.
Radia are version4 remixes of that same replication code produced a few years ago for Flash Math Creativity .
Radialaria were inspired by radiolarians, shell-like plankton that lives in vast quantities at the bottom of our oceans. Their tiny intricate complex geometric vase like structures certainly give credence to Aleister Crowley's idea of intelligible geometric forms ( part of a group of studies interested in natures ability to throw up organic representations of strict mathematic sequences - something close to transphormetic's heart). Intelligible geometry is an attribute Crowley gives to 'swiftness' or the '8 of wands' tarot card but seems to manifest itself across the natural world as well as in the human mind. For further studies see 'Art Forms in Nature' by Ernst Haeckle and 'The book of Thoth' by Aleister Crowley.
Convolutions are generated using time-based calculations for points on a bezier curve and plotting units accordingly to produce a spiral-spatial convolution and a stargraph ( nonsensical representations of the 'stocks and shares' of the imagination ).
17 sketches was commisioned by reservocation.com last year. Sketches have multiple starting configurations based on rotational constants that have been found to have 'interesting constructional properties'.
Maat is a simple animated generativ piece that leaves glitches of itself on the screen as it folds in on itself. Every now and then flash finds itself with rendering troubles like this one, transphormetic has a collection of such glitchyness, and rendering fickleness.
